TO BECOME MARKET LEADER IN ARMLESS AUTOMATIC FOLDING GATE INDUSTRY

INTRODUCTION  

B.T.Engineering Sdn Bhd was established as a Private Limited Company on 18^th August 1988 with a paid up capital of RM 4.5 millions. In year 1998, the founder Madam Chow, who is currently the Chairman of the company turned the small scale engineering works, into an Armless Security Automatic Folding Gate manufacturer. The factory with a built up area of 60,000 sq.ft. on 2 acres (87,120 sq.ft.)  Land area is located in Silibin Industrial Estate, Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia .

The company has planned to increase the sales through product diversification and geographical expansion. An additional of 20 more distributors will to be appointed by end of 2010. 

The company has been working with Housing Developers and Architects to develop a cost effective and durable automatic folding gate for housing projects in Malaysia .  

THE PRODUCT  

       The company’s innovative Armless Auto-Gate System has several advantages versus  piston arm auto-gate system and sliding gearbox system, namely:-   

1.      Shortest open time and closing time ( less than 9 seconds)  

2.      Enclosed armless system minimize damages caused by outside impact  

3.      Longer life span of the gearbox and motor ( with 10 years warranty) 

4.      Minimum trouble caused by the gear box or damage to arm  

5.      The folding gate design is to avoid the gate hitting the car/people during opening  

6.      Built-in alarm system for security 

      On 31st October 2002, the government of Malaysia recognized the unique feature of the product and granted “Certificate of Grant of a Patent”-(Malaysian Patent No: MY-114345-A) to the company.  Subsequently, the company applied the armless automatic folding gate under trade mark “LEGATE” and was granted on 29^th August 2003. The company made a further breakthrough in the manufacturing process with the introduction of hot dip galvanizing to B.S 729 (rust free for inner and outer surface of the steel frame) and then coated with premium polyester, epoxy powder coating and final coat with UV protection.  To further enhance the safety and security features of the automatic folding gate, the LEGATE automatic folding gate is designed with built in alarm system for security and auto reverse sensor for safety. In ensuring consistency of high quality product, the company pursued the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 certification which was accredited by Moody International Certification ( Malaysia ) Sdn Bhd on 21^st June 2004.   

Since 1998 after BTE launching the Legate automatic folding gate system, the company has secured more than 6,000 automatic folding gate orders and we are proud to announce that almost all of our customers renew their annual maintenance service contract. The annual maintenance service provided by the company is to ensure the LEGATE system can last longer (more than 10 years) if it that is properly service regularly.  This is utmost important for the buyer as LEGATE automatic folding gate system and the anti-rust frame are designed for long term use and anti scratch surface protected by premium polyester, epoxy powder coating and UV protection is able to slowdown color fading process. Today, B.T Engineering is the market leader in the automatic gate industry with its own armless automatic folding gate technology and well known anti rust frame, panel and parts as well as built-in security alarm system.
